Center for Health & Wellness
We offer a variety of wellness services for residents at Fort Chaplin. We held our first nutrition education class in March 2017. The class was made possible by the D.C. Department of Health’s Eat Smart/Move More Program. Residents learned tips to eating healthy and the importance of being physically active. Participants also received a bag of groceries generously donated by the Central Union Mission.
We’ve partnered with the United Medical Center to offer onsite medical services twice a month.
Residents also have access to fitness classes including yoga and chair exercises.
